For he says, "In the time of my favor I heard you, and in the day of salvation I helped you." I tell you, now is the time of God's favor, now is the day of salvation. I am greatly encouraged that now is the time of God’s favor and the day of His salvation. 2 Corinthians 6:2
Several young adults have expressed serious interest in joining us to work in Congo.

On Thursday, Amethyst’s cousin invited us to a small group/Bible study. It was a group of hungry young adults (who were mostly minorities) and there was something extremely special about these people. They were raw and they were very genuine. The leader (who we didn’t know at the time) introduced us to the entire group as missionaries.

Amethyst shared briefly about her testimony which paralleled the message of the night—taking hold of faith and achieving God’s vision for your life. Then she shared a brief word about not prolonging adolescence, declaring that now is the time for true discipleship and true servant-hood.

Eyes opened up, visions were stirring… The young people we met that night have a serious hunger to make a difference in this world! A ministry seed was planted in the room.

Afterward, they prayed over us. The prayer was fervent and heavy. We didn’t want to stop!

We’ve Got the Zeal
Getting our generation (people between ages 15-30) to see their strategic importance is so key. At the meeting we talked personally to the attendees. Many of them had a missionary call over their life. The calling surfaced so easily, it just needs to be drawn out— with an opportunity.

At least four of these young adults were seriously interested in joining us on a short-term trip to Congo either this year or next.

We Need Your Prayers
Please pray for the Lord to stir up the passion and hunger for young adults to be fully devoted to Christ. Pray that they gain wisdom and knowledge as well as vision and revelation about their importance before the eyes of Christ.

Pray that the young adults will join us in the Congo and that they will be a tremendous blessing to the Congolese. Tons of people love to sign up, but few actually make the journey.
